The Ohio Junior Simmental Association (OJSA) is a group of young people from the age of 9 to 21 that live in Ohio or some surrounding states and enjoy Simmental Cattle. This group of young people meets throughout the year to study many things about cattle judging, public speaking, Salesmanship, and learning about the breed and cattle as a whole, this helps them get ready for the summer show season. Each year the OJSA has a kick off show on Memorial Day weekend called the Memorial Day Classic and this is a practice run for the American Junior Simmental Association events in June and July.
